What is a Time Trial?

Understanding Bicycle Time Trials

A bicycle time trial, often referred to as ‘the race of truth,’ challenges cyclists to race against the clock on a set course, with each participant starting individually at different times. This format not only tests one’s endurance and speed but also their ability to pace themselves throughout the race without the benefit of drafting behind other competitors.
